Our water tanks are made from ultra UV (UV20) Food Grade Polyethylene, which means water from our tanks is good enough to drink. They also resist algae growth, provide the highest level of UV stability and the highest levels of colour fastness. IMPORTANT NOTE: Rainhaven is one of the few manufacturers that use UV20 poly in their tanks. Other manufacturers can use as little as UV8 in their tanks, which makes them far cheaper to produce and often as soon as you fill them with water, they'll start to buckle and warp out of shape.
